• Liaison

• Planning

This is the groundwork that maximises the skills employed, obtains the best materials at the best prices and makes sure that the clients’ and architects’ plans are adhered to and the clients’ wishes reflected.

• Costing

Absolutely vital to any project is the creation of accurate budgets and Tracy is the Queen of Costing! So much so in fact, that on occasion where savings have been made by getting better deals on materials or work has finished ahead of time, NVT Construction Limited pass this saving on to the client. We also prepare the detailed costings on a fully transparent basis ensuring there are no hidden extras to the benefit of all parties.

• Change control and management

An important part of any project is change control so the on-going management of the project during its duration is carefully monitored and reported. The purpose is to ensure that no unnecessary changes are made, that all changes are documented, that progress is not unnecessarily disrupted and that resources are used efficiently. This approach also allows for a “live” current project total cost to be clear throughout all stages of the project.

• Progress monitoring

Equally importantly regular and consistent progress monitoring against project master programme is essential and undertaken throughout the full project duration with regular progress reports being issued (monthly).

This also permits any unforeseen events or changes to be incorporated in the working master programme on a rolling basis and the programme and project to be fully managed to a timely and successful completion with no surprises.

• The workforce

Good communication is key and we make sure that Carpenters, Bricklayers, Plumbers, Electricians, Heating Engineers, Plasterers, Decorators, Kitchen and bathroom installers, Surface/screed technicians, Roofers, Driveway constructors plus all the people involved in the clean-up are fully aware of the project as a whole. Fortunately, we’ve been working with clients throughout the construction industry for over 20 years and have a good understanding of the challenges they face.

We make sure everyone is fully checked and vetted so that we only employ reliable craftsmen and women who take real pride in their work and are able to make a real quality difference to your project.

We look after all labour management, including on-site visits and administration to ensure all is running smoothly and ensure that all Health & Safety standards are strictly adhered to. We also keep up to date with latest legislation and employment law, ensuring we comply in everything that we do, enabling you to use our services with complete peace of mind, without having to worry about ever-changing requirements.

We hold both employer’s and public liability insurance, have a commitment to conservation and as responsible employers make sure that the latest training is available to all who work for us.
